Online STEM Coding Camp
Robots are increasingly a part of everyday life, and robot design is a fascinating field where students can develop their STEM skills and prepare for the world of tomorrow!
Our innovative two-week online STEM Camp (focusing on lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) gives students the invaluable opportunity to activate these skills in the fascinating process of creating a virtual robot.
Students will use the user-friendly platform provided by industry leader iRobot to learn fundamental techniques, from using the logic and problem solving skills required to build their virtual robot to manipulating the robot into action.
Online STEM Game Design Camp
Online gaming has quickly become a dominant part of the world of entertainment. By learning computer gaming basics, students can open opportunities for unlimited creativity! Our two-week online game design camp uses the Scratch gaming system from MIT to guide beginning students through the process of creating simple games. Students will learn to work with various programming elements such as arithmetic operators, variables, and if-else statements.
Online Cinema Camp
Lights! Camera! Action! Immerse yourself in the world of making movies in our Online Cinema Camp, coming to you straight from Hollywood, USA!
With today’s technology, you can use your own smartphone to make a short film. Our program will teach you the basics of cinema technique and storytelling to stretch your moviemaking skills.
Our teachers who are experienced working on major Hollywood projects will show you how to structure a story, write an effective scene and develop sharp dialogue. You’ll also learn techniques for framing a scene, making the best of a location and using creative editing techniques.
By the end of the camp, you’ll have a short film to show off your new abilities!
Online Acting Camp
Acting is a fun and exciting way to build your English skills! You’ll improve your speaking ability while deepening your knowledge of vocabulary. All while taking your acting ability to a whole new level! The FLS Online Acting Camp, based out of Los Angeles, uses the unmatched acting talent of Hollywood to connect you to your acting dreams. Our experienced teachers will show you how to master the American dialect, identify your character’s needs and work with different emotional tactics. Each student will gain practice and individual feedback in performing monologues and scenes. By the end of the camp, you’ll have a new confidence in your acting and speaking abilities!
SAT Prep
Available for students in Level 13 and above, our SAT preparation course covers all aspects of the test, including the mathematics portion, and provides extensive practice testing, to secure higher scores for our students. 2 hours of study per day. Start any Monday!
